Our fiber event yesterday was very successful and we thank each and every one of our friends and customers who made it all possible. The weather was perfect, too.
All is well on the farm today. Since it above freezing, finally, we can do some serious scooping. The weather this past week has limited clean up in the pastures significantly. You can see it, can’t you, piles of frozen alpaca “beans” frozen solid and stuck to the ground. Well, maybe you don’t want to see that. Anyway, we are headed to the barns to remove all of that.
It was really nice to meet you new folks yesterday. I hope you will join us for our next “event”. WFDD did a perfect job of announcing our event but most especially PRONOUNCING our name correctly.
We have the most generous “behind the scenes” helpers and they deserve a huge thank you. Ann, Al and Erica we love you and could not do this without you. Jim’s dear cousins, thank you so much. To all my friends and family that I annoyed with all the questions, “how about this traffic flow”, “what about this placement” and so on and so on. Thank you.
OK gotta go but just want to say thank you very much for a lovely day yesterday.
Let your heart rest.

Hey Jim and Sandy, this is Lowrey. If you remember, me and my family came out and visited you and the alpacas in december when it snowed. Sorry it has been so long since we have talked but I just got my drivers license Friday. You were so nice to send me the Alpaca Farmer Apprentice Program sheet. I would love to see if there was a time I could come visit again. I would be more than willing to help y’all with chores around the farm.
