The chicks have not liked the recent snow. We finally had enough Sun to open up some spots in the pasture for bug hunting but they still are not impressed with Old Man Winter.
The Alpacas are feeling at home – winter is their time of year.
The chickens don't agree of course - a little warmth and an increase in the grasshopper population would be appreciated on their part. They all welcome visitors - even the livestock guardian dogs - once you you have been properly introduced.
Our Fleece and Wine Tasting Day is coming soon but it is really not a great time to visit the animals, it will be inside with what will most likely be unfriendly, January weather.
Warmer days are coming and there is no better way to experience our farm than to come visit. Check back often for updates or subscribe to our RSS feed to keep up to date.
